Hello friends I basically don't use DA anymore which I'm sure is completely new and unexpected information.

I'm doing illustration and design professionally and I'm currently working with a large studio and it's great. I don't really have anywhere I post my art publicly anymore, but I've had some requests for a Facebook page so I will be sure to let you know here if I get one set up!

I am still doing some personal art, but the thing I really want to show you is in very early stages still and it will take a while. I will also be sure to post a link here once that is happening!

I've had a lot of requests about commission work lately and just wanted to plug our Kickstarter campaign. You can get digital or traditional commissions from me as backer rewards--but only if the campaign succeeds. I'm really busy with work and have pretty much abandoned DA in favor of my tumblr which you should definitely check out. In the meantime, I'm uploading a bunch of work from the last year, sorry it's all coming in at once here.

Throw Trucks is now in beta and you can pick up the game at our website. We even sell the headset! We had a great time at GDC and we'll be in the PAX East Indie Showcase, so come by and play the game if you're attending! We'll have some swag to hand out and since we had some interest in TTWYM cosplay, we'll have free posters, left over from the Kickstarter, for anybody who shows up dressed like our characters.

We're in early stages of getting into some other conventions this year but nothing solid enough for me to announce yet. If you're interested in the game, follow our tumblr devblog or like us on Facebook for updates.

I've neglected DA for about a year now so it's probably about time for an update.

I'm the environment artist on Throw Trucks With Your Mind! We haven't met our funding goals yet but we are doing well and have received some good press. If the game interests you, please help back us! For pledges of $15 and up you'll get an 11x17 poster of my artwork!

Even if you can't pledge, we REALLY appreciate signal boosts, so please spam stuff about the game everywhere, it helps a lot!

I'll get some more new art up here when my life has calmed down a little bit!

So, quick update.

I'm currently a curriculum developer at iD Tech, writing the 3D Game Design course for this year. If you are 7-17 and attend iD Tech this year and take 3D RPG, you'll be taking my class, that I wrote from the ground up! I'll likely be returning to iD Tech UW as a game design instructor this year, but I'm pursuing more permanent work, so that may change. I'm also doing some work for Microsoft at the moment, so I am very busy!

As for DeviantArt, I'm finding that I really dislike the interface and watch system just in general, and I'm definitely sick of being asked to sell prints or upgrade or whatever. I have an art tumblr that I'm enjoying a lot more, so I might just move over there for a while and/or permanently and let the DA linger until I either bore of it completely or can stand to look at it again.
